Our Story
Some places just feel like home before you even unpack a bag. For us, that place was Encinitas.
From the moment we arrived, we were completely overtaken by the soul of this coastal town—the rhythm of the waves, the golden light, and the warm aloha spirit that seems to linger in the ocean breeze and in the hearts of everyone you meet. The connection was instant and deep, like we’d stumbled upon something sacred and alive.
We spent countless nights talking about how to move our family—and our real estate business—from out of state to this place that had completely captured us. We spent a summer here, soaking in every sunset, every beach day, every smile from the locals who instantly felt like friends. And then one evening, our son Armand said the words that sealed our fate:
“Mom and Dad, let’s stay here forever.”
And that was it.
We found our perfect home, enrolled Armand in the perfect Encinitas Union School District (EUSD) school, and before we knew it, we’d fallen even more in love with this community. Through the school, we discovered the incredible diversity that makes EUSD so special—students from all walks of life, each bringing their own light and story. But we also learned about the gaps—how some families struggle to cover enrichment opportunities like field trips, experiences that every child deserves to have.
We knew we wanted to help. But we also wanted to do it in a way that celebrated this place that gave us so much. Then one sunny day at Moonlight Beach, it all clicked. We were talking about that feeling in the air—
that epic, unshakable, life-giving energy you can only feel here. “It’s a vibe,” we said. “No—it’s an Enci vibe.” EnciVibes was born.
From that moment, we had our name, our mission, and our vision: to create a local lifestyle brand that celebrates the essence of Encinitas while giving back to its community—especially the kids. We started with what every local really needs: an SPF shirt and a hat. Simple, coastal, and made for the Enci way of life. But our goal is bigger than clothes. We want to create a movement—a community that radiates positivity, unity, and purpose.
When you wear EnciVibes, you’re not just repping a brand. You’re part of a story—a family story, a community story, an Encinitas story. You’re helping ensure that every child has the chance to learn, explore, and thrive.

Born from the belief that every child deserves the same opportunities to learn, grow, and experience the world, we dedicate a portion of every purchase to supporting students within the Encinitas Union School District. We exist to keep the aloha spirit of Encinitas alive—by creating meaningful connections, uplifting local families, and ensuring that our schools, beaches, and community continue to thrive together.
